Looks like Xbox gamers are in for a treat, after last month’s somewhat disappointing entries in the Xbox Live Games with Gold program. Goat Simulator and The Crew for Xbox One and Super Meat Boy and XCOM: Enemy Unknown for Xbox 360. Goat Simulator will be available for free throughout the month of June, while The Crew will hit on June 16th and remain free until July 15th. Super Meat Boy will take up the first half of the month, with XCOM replacing it for the final 15 days. Both of the Xbox 360 titles should also be available via Xbox One Backwards Compatibility, letting you play them on your current console.
This seems like a nice mixture of AAA and indie titles, with most of these being well known among gamers of all types. We haven’t heard from Sony yet as far as what they’ll be offering, but this should be a good month for our monthly battle between the two services.
