Zelda Wii U at E3 was in-game, says Aonuma

Nintendo confirmed recently that they have a Zelda game coming to the Wii U in 2015. During their Nintendo E3 Digital Presentation, Eiji Aonuma revealed the first details about the game, in what appears to be the most massive game in the series.

The visuals shown off in the presentation were impressive indeed, but it led many to question whether or not this was actual in-game footage, or a CG presentation built for the show.

Aonuma has confirmed that the footage was from the game, on Miiverse. “That really is actual gameplay on Wii U… I wasn’t kidding about how you will be able to reach the mountains that appear in the distance,” the developer said.
