DICE announced the Back to Karkand expansion pack for Battlefield 3 some time ago, but today, the developer has put a concrete release date on the map pack. The Back to Karkand DLC will launch this December, and will feature fan favorite maps from previous Battlefield games.
Remastered for the Frostbite 2 Engine, Back to Karkand features four new(old) maps for the game, new dog tags, more achievements, three new vehicles, as well as weapons. If you pre-ordered the Limited Edition of Battlefield 3, you’ll get access to the Back to Karkand pack absolutely free.
