Naughty Dog have made available a video showing off an “alternate ending” to their 2013 hit the Last of Us which was originally shown at PAX. The video was released today to “celebrate” the day the cordyceps outbreak hit “critical mass” according to The Last of Us’ lore.
In a blog post at the PSBlog EU, Naughty Dog have also confirmed information regarding the Outbreak Day DLC will be made public tomorrow, on 27 September.
Spoiler alerts abound though as this covers one of the most moving scenes of the game and is not recommended for people who have not already finished The Last of Us, in fact if you’re planning to play the game steer clear of this video as it will ruin your experience in a big way. A volume warning is also in order as this one will quickly get out of hand if your speakers or headphones are turned up loud.
