Duke Nukem Forever Demo Arrives June 3rd

by | @AttackFanboy | on May 17, 2011

If you are a member of the Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club, you’ll get a taste of what’s to come on June 3rd.  First Access Keys for the demo were shipped with the Borderlands Game of the Year Edition, and you’ll also have access if you’ve already pre-ordered Duke Nukem Forever.  The game which is a long time coming, is finally in the home stretch and scheduled for release later next month.

As Randy Pitchford so eloquently explains in the video below, the game is in the final stages of certification across all platforms and is more importantly, more than just a figment of the imagination.  Duke Nukem Forever is a game with a storied past, littered with broken promises and an agonizing 14 year hiatus from its last installment.  We’ll see in just a short time whether Duke Nukem Forever lives up to the hype.  If anything, it’s due to offend.  Because I can tell you right now, I have been waiting for a very long time for a first person shooter where I can throw poo at my enemies.
