Extended Space Combat Footage for Starhawk

The latest gameplay video from Lightbox Interactive shows off space combat in Starhawk. A far cry from the Acid Sea maps that were recently on display, this first look at the space combat aspect of Starhawk details one of the many different environments you’ll be battling in come 2012.

The developer is said to be focusing on “unique structure and style” for each environment, while keeping the Build & Battle mechanics intact and “fresh” for each. Combat tactics will vary with environments, and because of that, you’ll need to adapt depending on the environment you are playing in.

Starhawk is headed exclusively to the PlayStation 3 next year.
