Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will feature a unique new twist in the form of DLC for the game.  The Heroes and Heralds DLC which is scheduled to arrive post-launch, will allow players to gather cards for the Marvel and Capcom rosters of fighters.  These cards will give players the choice to enhance the fighters with varying attributes like invicibilities, armor, parries, invisibility, and more.

There are said to be 100 cards in all, with up to three cards used at once in any number of combinations to form the ultimate team.  Capcom said at NYCC there is a possibility of over 1.12 million different combinations.  The kicker is, Heroes and Heralds will be playable online.

Here’s the latest screenshots and video from the Heroes and Heralds DLC, which will arrive sometime after the November release of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
