Massive project has hundreds toiling to bring the next rendition of Resident Evil to gamers.

Resident Evil 6 will be Capcom’s largest production in company history.  With around 150 people working on the game in Japan, and over 600 worldwide, Capcom has quite an investment in the upcoming survival horror title.  Last week the publisher revealed the title to the world where it met some confused fans of the franchise.

Aside from the staggering number of trailer analysis done by the collective gaming hivemind known as the internet, Capcom has yet to release any real concrete information about the upcoming game.  A recent finding found cooperative game modes listed on the Xbox Live Marketplace lsiting for the title.

Over on the Capcom Unity Blog, Resident Evil 6 developers took to video to introduce the “gargantuan” project.  Expect more from Capcom in the coming months, Resident Evil is tentatively scheduled for a 2012 release.
