Recommended Videos

If you’ve started up Cult Of The Lamb, and have found yourself stuck in a certain spot, pining for an easier experience, or wanting to challenge yourself even more than you are already, you may want to know if you’re able to change the difficulty of the game. There are multiple different parts to this title, including helping your cult grow, as well as combat and exploration.

Let’s dive right in and see if there are any sort of difficulty settings in the game, and what these factors may change. Here is everything you’ll need to know about Cult Of The Lamb’s difficulty!

Can You Adjust Difficulty In Cult Of The Lamb?

As you will come to find out, once you have passed the tutorial area of the game, you will be able to select your difficulty. We do recommend starting the game on medium until you get a feel for the game, and then adjusting from there. While you may find yourself struggling a bit at the beginning, between combat and management, as you learn the way that systems work, and how combat works, you may find that things are too easy or too difficult.

Thankfully, with this adjustable setting, you’ll find that this opens up Cult of the Lamb to be more accessible to those that may not be familiar with the rouge-lite genre, letting players breeze their way through combat, and spend more time with their Cult without needing to spend countless hours grinding to make things happen. On the other side of the coin, however, if you are looking for a challenge, you’ll be able to bump the difficulty up tremendously, giving you plenty of challenges on the road ahead.

If you want to stay on your specific difficulty, with a bit of a challenging bump, you’ll also be able to re-explore areas that you have already cleared, giving you a chance to fight against more powerful foes in a familiar setting. This can help you learn more about the combat system, the perks that you can learn, and a chance to experiment with different weapons that you have come across on your adventure. There are plenty of ways to play around with the difficulty, so make sure that you’re ready for action, no matter what you choose.
