How to Catch Cyclizar in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

When Trainers start their journey through the Paldea Region in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, they have an opportunity to add a valuable Dragon/Normal-type Pokemon to their team reasonably early into the game. Cylizar, who looks a bit like the Legendary Monsters in this game, is quite a valuable tool to have through these early hours. You may even find a new favorite monster once you claim this speed demon for your own.

But, if players don’t know where to look, there is a good chance that they may be overlooked. With their general speediness, players may have a hard time keeping up with them and may not even realize that it’s a wild Pokemon. Strap onto your Legendary of choice to keep up with these little dragons in the wild as players do their best to add one to their team!

Where To Find Cylizar In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Cylizar-Habitat

As players begin their Treasure Hunt, finding new and returning Pokemon in the wild is more exciting than ever before. Especially when you come across some that will send you on a wild Gooserene chase as Cylizar does. Trainers will find this Pokemon zipping across the plains in a few specific locations, where they will need to either chase them down and battle them or wait for them to approach.

Those looking to find them in the wild will need to search these locations to find one:

  • Near Levincia
  • Southern Portion of Eastern Province (Area Three)
  • Northern Portion of Asado Desert
  • Southern Portion of West Province (Area Two)
  • Northern Portion of Eastern Province (Area Two)

As the map is quite large, players may need to invest a few hours into the game before they encounter their first Cylizar. Before you challenge some of the Starfall Street Bosses or the Gym Leaders, players will need to make sure they are beefing up their Pokemon before challenging these Trainers. Cylizar offers a great type match and can be utilized for many different objectives in the long run. They also work great for farming items, especially when they have reached their true potential.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available now on Nintendo Switch.
