Fans of the Battlefield series who haven’t yet grabbed all of Battlefield 4’s DLC are in for a treat, as one of the game’s DLC packs will be free later this week. The DLC in question is Final Stand, which will be free for Xbox Live Gold members on May 17th.
This was spotted by a user on Reddit while browsing the Xbox One Community Calendar app, where it is revealed that it will be free for all Xbox Live Gold members on Xbox One. It remains to be seen if the same will be true for Xbox 360 players.
As for what is packed within the Final Stand DLC, players will be getting 4 maps, new weapons, gadgets and even a new snowmobile. The pack originally launched for all available platforms in December of last year. It appears that the Battlefield creators have been in a giving mood lately, as they have recently released Battlefield 4’s Dragon’s Teeth DLC and Battlefield Hardline’s Robbery DLC for free.
Despite previous games in the series still getting plenty of action from gamers, Battlefield 1 is set to launch this October for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and takes the series to World War 1.
