The UK gaming charts are in for this week and Battlefield Hardline and Final Fantasy Type-0 HD took out the two top spots.
As reported by Eurogamer, Battlefield Hardline took out the overall top spot. This is the first time EA is on top in the UK in 2015. It’s highly likely EA will be on top again later this year with releases like FIFA 16 and Star Wars: Battlefront on the way too.
Taking into account Battlefield Hardline’s sales, 46 percent were for the PS4 version. The Xbox One followed closely behind with 43 percent. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions both only received 6 percent of sales.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD took the second spot. This is a great showing for a non-direct entry of a Final Fantasy game. Alas, the game did come packaged with the Final Fantasy XV demo. The demo may have been a huge factor on the game’s sales. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is still an enjoyable game if you ever get a chance to play it. The PS4 version of the game was the platform of choice as it got more sales over the Xbox One version.
The only other new release in the UK top 10 was Mario Party 10. The game only had to settle for sixth place. While the retail edition of Resident Evil Revelations 2 came in at seventh.
