Fans will be happy to know that Battlefield Hardline has officially turned gold.
The announcement was made on the official Battlefield Twitter page:
“#BFHardline is officially Gold on all platforms & all regions! RT if you’ll be joining us on the streets on Mar 17”
Battlefield Hardline was initially going to be released back in October 2014. The game had to be delayed by several months to polish up the gameplay. This was done because of the feedback EA and Visceral Games got from the public betas.
The fact that Battlefield Hardline has gone gold means development for the game has finally finished. This means the game will meet its release date of March 17th in North America. The game will be out in Europe on March 20th. There will be no more delays, as the game is now being printed and shipped out.
Battlefield Hardline is the most unique game in the franchise. Instead of a military-themed game, the game centers around cops and robbers. Visceral Games also added a story mode that will play out like a TV drama series.
It will be interesting to see if Battlefield Hardline will be popular enough to become a franchise of its own. We’ll just have to wait and see if the game is actually good.
