Battlefield Hardline Stays Number One In The UK

People in the UK seem to love Battlefield Hardline because it has been the best selling game in the entire country for three weeks now.

Battlefield Hardline debuted at the top spot three weeks ago and remained on top even with the release of Bloodborne the week after. It was a slow week for new releases, so the game remained at the top yet again.

It’s amazing since Battlefield Hardline’s sales dropped 40 percent week-on-week. Despite the fall in sales, no other game managed to oust it from the top.

Bloodborne dropped one place to number three. It was replaced with Grand Theft Auto V which had increased its sales by 35 percent. The only “new” release in the top 10 was Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin. It was in number eight. It’s a re-release so big sales weren’t anticipated.

Another re-release was Xenoblade Chronicles 3D. Since this game is exclusive to the New Nintendo 3DS, sales were low as it only came in at number 27 in the UK chart.

WWE 2K15 managed to creep back up to number 15 on the UK chart. This is possibly due to WrestleMania 31 happening last week so gamers wanted to relive their favorite moments from the event.
