This weekened Call of Duty players will get the opportunity to earn double XP in the shooter across all platforms. The double XP began yesterday and will run through Monday, February 25th at 10 a.m. PST. The Double XP weekend let’s players rank up more quickly in the multiplayer modes of the online shooter, but Treyarch has confirmed that this will only apply to the base experience point totals, this additional XP does not give double weapon experience points.
If you were looking to make that jump to a new prestige level, now’s your time.
For PC shooter fans that have yet to try out Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, they can try the shooter on STEAM for free this weekend. Hoping that you like it, the game has been discounted down to $40 for the standard edition. A digital deluxe version is also available for $54. The sale on the game ends on Monday, with the free trial period ending on Sunday.
