Thanks to the Tekken 7 arcade location tests happening this week in Japan, we now know the first batch of characters that will be in the game.
The big news is of course the all-new characters that will be in Tekken 7. Bandai Namco have already mentioned the game will be getting a new fighter named Katarina just a few weeks ago. Her name was thought to be Catalina, but it looks like Bandai Namco altered her name now.
Katarina is from South America and is a fast-type of character that beginners would like to use. She kind of looks very similar to Christie Monteiro who is also from South America.
The newest character that has been announced for Tekken 7 is a gentleman named Claudio. He’s a handsome looking guy with black hair and wears a long white robe. There’s not much information on the character yet, but more details should be revealed on him soon.
The older fighters returning in Tekken 7 include: Kazuya, Heihachi, Lars, Asuka, Lili, Alisa, Paul, Law, Xiaoyu, King, Dragunov, Bryan, Leo, Feng, Steve, and Hwoarang. All of these characters look the same so it appears the game isn’t set too far in the future.
