June has come and gone without the promised details about beta access for Capcom’s upcoming PS4 title, Deep Down. Kazunori Sugiura, Producer for the game, says that Deep Down Beta details will indeed be coming in July instead.

A series of announcements on the Deep Down Twitter account suggests that there aren’t any issues that are hindering the game at the moment, and that the delay of information about the Deep Down beta are more tied to policies for the beta, rather than development problems.

The tweets revealed a new screenshot for the game as an “apology” to fans.

Deep Down was revealed at Sony’s PlayStation 4 announcement event in 2013, and caused quite a stir. Showcasing incredible visuals and Capcom’s new game engine, the Capcom Online Games title has been largely absent from the headlines lately. The game also had zero presence at E3 2014.

Capcom did not reveal an exact date as to when we should expect these details about the Deep Down Beta.
