Update: Dragon Ball Xenoverse Gets Slight Delay In Australia And NZ

by Damian Seeto

It looks like Dragon Ball Xenoverse has received a slight delay over in Australia and New Zealand.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse’s original release date for Australia New Zealand was February 13th. This is still the European release date for the game. The North American and Steam release date for the game is February 17th.

It looks like Australians and New Zealanders now have to wait two more weeks for Dragon Ball Xenoverse as major retailers are now listing the game to be released on February 26th instead. These retailers include EB Games, Mighty Ape, and JB Hi Fi.

There has been no official reason why Dragon Ball Xenoverse has been delayed for Australians and New Zealanders. This could be due to a shipping delay as Konami games have had to be delayed by two weeks in the past due to this. At least the delay isn’t too long…

People in North America and Europe don’t have to worry as the game is still scheduled to come out on its original release dates in those regions. Japan gets the game first as it comes out early on February 5th.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse will be released for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Update: It appears the game has been delayed for other regions after all. Bandai Namco have spoken out saying the delay was done to “to ensure the highest possible gameplay experience for our fans“. The new release date is February 27th.
