After months of waiting Telltale is finally ready to launch the first episode of Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series. Titled Iron From Ice, the first episode will introduce players to the world of Westeros as seen from the view of House Forrester. Over the course of six episodes players will take control of various members of the family as they deal with the ramifications of the War of the Five Kings that has raged across the land. As with any Telltale game, your choices will play a major part, as your actions in one episode as one character will transfer across to another character in later episodes.
Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series is a new six part episodic game series set in the world of HBO’s TV show.
Based on the HBO TV show rather than the books, Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series takes place from the end of season 3 into the beginning of season 5. Characters and locations from the show will be heavily featured, including some of the actors reprising their role for the game. While the bulk of the action will take place in the Ironwood, home of House Forrester, there will be scenes in iconic locations such as King’s Landing.
Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series Episode 1 – Iron From Ice will be available on PC, Mac, and US PlayStation 4’s. European PS4’s, as well as all Xbox 360’s and Xbox One’s will get it on December 3rd. Apple iOS will get the game on December 4th, and PS3 will have to wait until December 9th.
