The Gears of War 3 Multiplayer Beta has been live now for a little over a week. First, access was opened to media outlets, followed shortly thereafter by the Bulletstorm Epic Edition purchasers. This week, the beta will open to Xbox Live Gold subscribers that pre-ordered the game at Gamestop. If you subscribe to Xbox Live this is one thing to mark on your to-do-list for next week in the case that you pre-ordered your copy already. We’ve had the opportunity to test-drive the Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta and can confirm that it’s definitely living up to the hype.
A more refined Gears of War experience than ever before awaits you if brave enough to hop online and test out the latest from Epic. The Gears of War 3 beta will open to all subscribers this Monday so mark your calendars, you definitely don’t want to waste too much time. The beta will run until May 15th. During that time, Epic will be updating the game with new rotations of maps and modes. The beta also allows you to take any earned items with you when you purchase the full game on release in September.
April 25th – May 1st: TDM and KOTH on Thrashball, Checkout, and Trenches.
May 2nd – May 8th: TDM, KOTH, and CTL on Thrashball, Checkout, Trenches, and Old Town.
May 9th – May 15th: TDM, KOTH, and CTL on Thrashball, Checkout, Trenches, and Old Town.
