The Gears of War 3 Multiplayer Beta has been live now for a little over a week. Â First, access was opened to media outlets, Â followed shortly thereafter by the Bulletstorm Epic Edition purchasers. Â This week, the beta will open to Xbox Live Gold subscribers that pre-ordered the game at Gamestop. Â If you subscribe to Xbox Live this is one thing to mark on your to-do-list for next week in the case that you pre-ordered your copy already. Â We’ve had the opportunity to test-drive the Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta and can confirm that it’s definitely living up to the hype.
A more refined Gears of War experience than ever before awaits you if brave enough to hop online and test out the latest from Epic. Â The Gears of War 3 beta will open to all subscribers this Monday so mark your calendars, you definitely don’t want to waste too much time. Â The beta will run until May 15th. Â During that time, Epic will be updating the game with new rotations of maps and modes. Â The beta also allows you to take any earned items with you when you purchase the full game on release in September.

April 25th –  May 1st:  TDM and KOTH on Thrashball, Checkout, and Trenches.
May 2nd –  May 8th:  TDM, KOTH, and CTL on Thrashball, Checkout, Trenches, and Old Town.
May 9th –  May 15th:  TDM, KOTH, and CTL on Thrashball, Checkout, Trenches, and Old Town.
