Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Getting Double XP, Shotgun Improvements

Recommended Videos

Yesterday an update for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition rolled out to Xbox One players that made some improvements to the accuracy for the Gnasher shotgun.  The update was said to improve consistency of the gun, which changed the way the pellets sprayed from it.

They’ve also switched around a couple of ways to earn achievements in the game allowing the “This is Annex!” and “Nub Pwn3r” to be earned in any of the Hill based modes.  So you could earn those achievements by playing King of the Hill, Annex, and Blitz to earn these achievements.  Spawns are also said to have gotten a touch-up in those modes to provide a more competitive experience.

Double XP is also live for the game, and will remain so until 12pm PDT on Monday, September 28th.
