Rockstar has announced that GTA Online Heists will be released on March 10th for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The long awaited feature has been delayed multiple times in its long history, with the original game coming out in September 2013. Rockstar has explained the issues before, and it seems like they have resulted in a much better mode for gamers to enjoy. Four players will be able to join up into a crew and take on multiple jobs that all lead to a huge heist. Payouts will be big, but the danger will as well, so players will have to work together and build up their abilities and gear before tackling the big job.
Unfortunately there was also bad news with the revelation. The release date for GTA V on PC has been pushed back once again. Originally slated for a January release date, the PC version of the popular open world game was delayed until March. That has now become April 14th. Rockstar commented on the delay by saying “Our apologies to PC gamers worldwide who have been counting down the days until the launch of the game, but a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible, and to make certain that both Heists and the GTA Online experience are ready to roll out on day one for PC. As a gesture of thanks for your understanding, we will grant anyone who has pre-ordered the game an additional $200,000 in-game cash for use in GTA Online.”
The wait might end up being worth it though as GTA V on PC is the “most graphically and technically advanced version yet” and is “fully optimized to support a broad range of current hardware and features a host of PC-specific enhancements including greater levels of detail, deep configuration options and ultra-high-definition support – as well as the powerful new Rockstar Editor for recording, staging and editing original custom videos.”
GTA V is available now on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
