Kiefer Sutherland will voice Snake in Metal Gear Solid V. Announced during today’s Konami E3 Press Conference, Sutherland will do both motion capture and voice acting for the iconic character. Kojima expressed the ambition for Metal Gear Solid V is to capture both the visual and audio tones from the actor, deemed as “the human experience”.
Originally thought to be David Hayter, the long running voice of the character, the announcement of Sutherland’s involvement in Metal Gear Solid V is a surprise development twist from Kojima.
The Konami E3 Press Conference is currently on-going, and can be viewed here. There was no mention in the Metal Gear Solid V portion of the conference. Perhaps his inclusion is in The Phantom Pain portion of the game?
