New job listings at Kojima Productions allude to the company staffing up for the inevitable Metal Gear Solid 5. Said to be targeted at “high-end consoles and PC”, Kojima Productions is also looking for developers to work on and develop the “next gen game engine technology” that will be used with the company’s Fox Engine, for the game.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if it turns out that Metal Gear Solid 5 ends up to be a launch title for next generation of consoles. What’s more interesting, is that the next generation Metal Gear Solid title is said to be coming to “next generation console(s). So it’s likely that the next Metal Gear Solid game won’t end up being an exclusive title to the PlayStation brand.
Hideo Kojiman, the Metal Gear Solid creator, recently spoke about the possibility of a next generation Metal Gear Solid title. “We’ll probably have to make it at some point, but what that will be, we have no idea,” is what Hideo Kojima told The Official PlayStation Magazine recently when speaking about the possibility of Metal Gear Solid 5.
So while this job listing is in no way an official announcement of the next gen MGS game, signs are beginning to point in that direction.
