Following the release of the critical success, LA Noire, reports suggested that Team Bondi was in a dire financial situation.  Today, it has been announced that the developer will be shuttering its doors with its remaining assets being sold to Kennedy Miller Mitchell.

Rockstar sprinkled their marketing magic on the title, and combined with some very interesting gameplay mechanics, the game found success with both critics and gamers.  It was one of the most successful new video game properties in recent memory.

Since the game sold around 4 million copies with likely other editions on the way, you can bet that you haven’t heard the last of LA Noire.  Who will be the company behind the game going forward?  Well, since Take Two owns the rights to the game, you bet that they’ll find someone to handle it when it comes time to talk sequel.
