If you’ve held off on Modern Warfare 3 back in November, but want to get a taste of what the game offers, it’s going free to play on Steam this weekend. Â The promotion kicks off on April 26th at 10am Pacific Time, and Valve has already offered up the game for pre-loading, so you’ll be ready when it goes live.
The free portion that is being offered to test is the multiplayer modes in Modern Warfare 3. Â You’ll get unlimited access to the content from Thursday morning until Monday.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 released late in 2011 as the biggest entertainment launch in history. Â Selling 10’s of millions of copies of the game, Modern Warfare is most popular on consoles these days, more specifically the Xbox 360.
