You might not be able to pick up Battlefield 3 on Valve’s Steam distribution/gaming platform, but you sure can order your copy of Modern Warfare 3.  The game just recently went up for sale on the network, and for now, Valve is offering no incentive to plunk your cash down early, as it has done with other games in the past.  Modern Warfare 3 will run you $59.99 on Steam as it stands, and pre-ordering it will give you the opportunity to pre-load when the time comes so you can get on to those dedicated servers are wreak havok in the mysterious multiplayer that Infinity Ward is being so quiet about.

It’s been quiet on the Modern Warfare 3 front since E3.  The developers haven’t said much about the game’s features, aside from revealing the Spec-Ops survival mode trailer which looked spectacular.  As we keep hearing, we’re gonna need to wait for the Call of Duty XP Event this September for the real dirt.
