Nintendo Issues Fix for Pokemon X / Y Save Glitch

Recommended Videos

All of you Pokemon trainers worried about losing your progress for saving in Lumiose City, you may now rest at ease. Nintendo has released a patch for Pokemon X and Pokemon Y in the eShop this morning correcting the game crippling bug that has been erasing players’ save data for the past two weeks. Along with fixing other functionality issues, players may now save and exit the game in Kalos’ largest city without fear of losing their progress — the bug also recovers any loss data to those previously afflicted by the glitch.

While it’s a definite headache and shouldn’t have shipped with the game in the first place, it’s great to see Nintendo get this bug squashed so quickly for the millions of people playing the latest Pokemon game worldwide. The patch is now available in the 3DS eShop for free at 229 blocks.
