Konami has noted there won’t be an update to the roster in PES 2016 yet as they are busy working on the online factors.
The official Pro Evolution Soccer Facebook page announced: “Hi everyone, we´re aware of fans asking about the roster update coming for PES 2016. We are working very hard to implement them ASAP, however we are currently focusing on ensuring the best possible online experience.
We will update you early next week on the roster updates as well as the upcoming new teams and stadium’s future availability. We would like to thank you all for your patience and support! We hope you enjoy PES 2016 as much as we do! Love The Past, Play The Future!”
A lot of fans are a bit annoyed the roster wasn’t updated in time for the game’s launch this week. They feel it’s disappointing knowing that the game is out of date on launch day.
It’s good to know Konami is aware of it and will be working on the issue as soon as possible. Hopefully the roster update is implemented soon so gamers can experience up-to-date rosters.
Konami should be doing it before FIFA 16 comes out as EA is sure to have an updated roster for their game on launch day.
