PlayStation Network Scheduled for Maintenance on 11.17

The PlayStation Network will be offline for scheduled maintenance this week.  On Thursday, the network will be offline between 8am and 10pm PST.  During the scheduled maintenance the PlayStation Store for the PS3 and PSP, account management, and account registration features will not be available to access.  Sign-ins will also be down on the us.playstation.com site.

Patrick Seybold of SCEA did say that some users may be able to play online throughout the maintenance, but did not clarify who, or why.

So for some, you’ll need to put down your Uncharted 3, Battlefield 3, and Modern Warfare 3 for a few hours tomorrow, and probably do something a lot less fun.
