Rockstar confirmed today that Red Dead Redemption is not coming to PC.  The developer is in the business of making money from the games that they produce so as they explained in a post on the Rockstar Site, “All we can say is that whenever it is viable for us to release a game for PC – we will and we usually do; unfortunately, that is just not the case 100% of the time for all platforms.”

So if you were holding out hope for the Adventures of John Marston to hit the PC anytime soon, you can finally put that to rest.  Rockstar didn’t delve into the why’s about the situation, but they did note that there is plenty of Rockstar goodness to cling to on the PC.

Max Payne 3 and LA Noire are two upcoming titles that will be available on the PC.
