Star Wars Battlefront available first on Xbox One

It looks like Star Wars Battlefront will be playable first on the Xbox One.  That is according to recent comments by Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg, who revealed via Twitter that there will likely be some arrangement between Electronic Arts and his company that will bring the game to Xbox One before PlayStation.

“Play it first on Xbox One,” says Greenberg.  Who is likely revealing that Battlefront will be included in the EA Access program when it launches.  EA Access which is not available on PlayStation consoles, gives subscribers early access to new titles as well as access to a revolving vault of games for a price of $4.99 per month.  No other exclusivity announcements have been made at this time, so we’re going to assume that this will be the way to play Star Wars: Battlefront first on Xbox One.

Battlefront has been in the news a lot lately. Images and artwork have been popping up in pieces on the game’s Facebook account.  An industry insider recently revealed that they have seen a trailer for the game, and claims that it will “break the internet” when finally revealed for all.

That reveal is coming up shortly.  April 16-19 in Anaheim will be the Star Wars Celebration.  The convention will play host to the first gameplay trailer for Star Wars: Battlefront.
