It appears that Treyarch will be working on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 as well. Robert Bowling announced in a recent Activision podcast that the developer would also be helping out with the Nintendo Wii version of Modern Warfare 3. Treyarch who has seen success in developing for Nintendo’s console released both Call of Duty: World at War and Call of Duty: Black Ops on the Wii. Robert Bowling had this to say about the announcement.
“The great thing is Treyarch proved that you can have an awesome experience on the Wii with Call of Duty. They’ll actually be handling that for Modern Warfare 3,”
At the time of announcement, the Nintendo Wii version of the game has not been dated. But Modern Warfare 3 releases worldwide on the Xbox 360, PC, and PS3 this November 8th.
