More troubles for THQ

A new rumor has game publisher THQ laying off 170 employees from their UK staff, including one prominent executive. An industry analyst outed the news via Twitter, which reinforces even further, the continued struggles of the publisher.

Just yesterday, THQ received notice that it would be de-listed from the NASDAQ stock exchange for failure to keep their stock price above the madatory $1 threshold.

THQ has yet to issue a public statement regarding the layoffs, but as most companies do when times are tough, layoffs seem inevitable.
