Ubisoft has revealed its latest sales report and it shows the company sells a lot more games on the PS4 platform over the Xbox One.

In terms of the first quarter of the year, 36 percent of all Ubisoft games have been sold on the PS4. As for the Xbox One however, this is only at 17 percent. This means around twice as many Ubisoft games are being sold on the PS4 over the Xbox One.

Videogamer reports that both PS4 and Xbox One game sales have both increased compared to the last quarter. Back then, only 13 percent of games sold were on the PS4. The Xbox One accounted for 7 percent of all Ubisoft games that have been sold.

As of right now, the latest figures say that the PS4 has sold over 7 million units worldwide. Microsoft said 5 million Xbox One units have been shipped since last November. There is still a gap between the two consoles.

Ubisoft announced earlier this week that Watch Dogs has sold over 8 million copies so far. It’s a good sign the PS4 was the leading platform of choice for Watch Dogs buyers. It’s also worth mentioning the game is the best selling game in 2014 so far.
