At Sony’s TGS Press Conference, Yoshinori Ono took the stage to reveal Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 for the PlayStation Vita. Â The fighter will be heading to the handheld console at launch, which Sony also revealed will be Dec. 17th, 2011. Â The developer touted the fighter as delivering a near PlayStation 3 experience on the handheld, with a few twists that only the Vita can offer.
Full online support is slated for the title, as well as touch screen support. Â How exactly these unique control functionalities will play out on the handheld wasn’t discussed, but with the game on display this week at TGS, we’ll likely know soon enough.
The PlayStation Vita launches in Japan this December with a worldwide rollout of the mobile device schedule subsequently.
