Bethesda has unveiled the system requirements for Wolfenstein: The Old Blood just ahead of its May 5th release date. It shouldn’t shock anyone to learn that if their rig was able to run Wolfenstein: The New Order, it shouldn’t find itself struggling with The Old Blood. That’s not to say that the specs are exactly the same. These new system requirements have been bumped up just a bit from the predecessor, alluding to an improved graphical experience.
Minimum
- OS: 64-bit Windows 7/Windows 8
- Processor: Intel Core i5-2500 @ 3.3 GHz / AMD FX-8320 @ 3.5 GHz
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 / AMD Radeon HD 6870 (1GB VRAM)
- Hard Drive: 38 GB available space
Recommended
- OS: 64-Bit Windows 7/Windows 8
- Processor: Intel Core i7 / AMD FX-8350
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 / AMD Radeon R9 280 (3GB or more VRAM)

As previously stated, unless your setup was just scraping by with Wolfenstein: The New Order, these new requirements are unlikely to cause you any reason for concern. The game will be available for pre-load this Friday, May 1st. That should provide ample time for buyers to download the 38GB game, even if internet speeds fall on the not-so-great side of the spectrum.
