2K Games has now confirmed that the PS4 and Xbox One versions of WWE 2K15 have reached gold status.

Reaching gold means development for the game has finished so the game is ready to be shipped onto discs ready for customers to enjoy. This means WWE 2K15 will meet its November 18th release date. There should be no fears of the game getting delayed at the last minute.

WWE 2K15 community manager, Marcus Stephenson, confirmed this on his official twitter. He answered a fan question confirming that the game “went gold!”. He also said development has now shifted into the DLC we will be seeing in the near future.

WWE 2K15 has already come out for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The game has been met with mixed reception from both fans and critics alike. Most of the criticism is toward the many features that have been removed for some odd reason. Many people hope these features are retained for the PS4/Xbox One versions.

WWE 2K15 has a lot of DLC which will add a ton of wrestlers. There is both a WCW and NXT pack as well as three more 2K Showcase storylines for people to enjoy too.

Anyway, PS4 and Xbox One owners should be happy about the game going gold.
