Gearbox has revealed that Borderlands 2 will arrive on September 18th for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.  The hybrid first person shooter with open world of Pandora also got a brand new three minute trailer that shows off a bunch of never-before-seen gameplay for the game.

“Borderlands 2 features all-new characters; skills; imaginative, diverse new environments with unique missions and enemies; and more exciting and fun weapons, equipment and loot than ever before. All of these features come together in a story that takes players to the world of Pandora to take down the notorious Handsome Jack and his corrupt Hyperion Corporation as a solo campaign or with up to four cooperative players.”

The company also revealed that participating retailers are offering those who pre-order their copy of the game, access to the “Premiere Club”.  This will allow them to download weapon packs, and otherwise locked content.
