Naughty Dog Explains the Buddy System in Uncharted 3

by | @AttackFanboy | on October 15, 2011

If you like the word buddy, your trailer has arrived.

Naughty Dog has explained the Buddy System for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.  The feature will be integral to success in Uncharted 3 multiplayer.  With the Buddy System active, you can spawn on your “buddy” and as you work together to take out an enemy, you’ll be given the opportunity to humiliate your foes by high-fiving over their decaying corpses.

Uncharted 3’s multiplayer isn’t exactly what would be described as traditional.  Naughty Dog has taken a few unique twists in the multiplayer with the treasure sets, customization, and focus on teamwork instead of stats.

One review has already been seen in the wild for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and it earned a 9.9 out of ten.  The game is due out exclusively on the PlayStation 3 on November 1st.
