Alienware’s Steam Machine will launch in September, according to announcements made at Valve’s Dev Days Summit. With a fall release window, and a $499 price tag, the Alienware Steam Machine is going to be one of most economical routes to take if in the market for this new Steam experience.
Alienware touts its Steam Machine as designed to combine the ease of a console with the freedom of a PC, providing the best balance betwen size, performance and aesthetics for the living room gaming experience. The Alienware Steam Machine includes a custom-built chassis to provide optimal thermal and acoustic management.
Just what $499 will get you with this Alienware Steam Machine is anyone’s guess, but we do know that it will come with an IntelCPU and NVIDIA GPU, as announced on the company’s Steam Machine page.
