Black Ops Gets Title Update on Xbox Live

Treyarch has pushed another update to the Xbox 360 for Call of Duty: Black Ops on Xbox Live. The patch includes numerous security enhancements for the game, and a couple of tweaks to the audio files of the game for the Search & Destroy mode

Treyarch has pushed another update to the Xbox 360 for Call of Duty: Black Ops on Xbox Live. The patch includes numerous security enhancements for the game, and a couple of tweaks to the audio files of the game for the Search & Destroy mode. Having just released the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops Map Pack, Annihilation, the game's bustling online community is still going strong now nine months after it released late in 2010.

Later this month, the Call of Duty: Elite Beta will begin. And while Modern Warfare 3 will still be in development, it's a certainty that the features of the game will start to be explored in the next couple of weeks by using the service with the exisiting titles that are supported, which at this point is just Black Ops.

If you were selected to participate in the beta for the service, you should be getting an email shortly, if you registered that is.

They get patches before ps3, shows how much they don’t care about ps3. I don’t care if they pay, a patch is to fix things in the game. They should release the patch for all consoles at the same time.

It has nothing to do with xbox users paying for xbox live, it all has to do with the fact that treyarch has a agreement with xbox to get all DLC and patches before everyone else.

LMAO, Every online game has kids, but I’ve noticed way more on Xbox. Please go to youtube and see the little kid playing halo, pitiful. But that’s just an example and my experience.

You can’t get away from kids and most of them can probably kick your ass, not mine but probably yours.

And no, you don’t get maps and dlc sooner for COD stuff on Xbox because you pay for play.

PS3 pays to get exclusive content in AAA blockbuster games, like that found in Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire, Batman AA, Assassins Creed Brotherhood, Mortal Kombat, Medal of Honor, Battlefield BC2, Battlefield 3 & Mafia 2.

Some of the exclusive content is entire free games, like Battlefield 1943 (comes with either Bad company 2 or BF3) or full maps or just exclusive charactors.

Either way Sony gamers get what you Xbots CAN’T HAVE even though you pay $300 every 5 years just to game online. You are stupid idiots for supporting pay to play, so many great ways to go other than bending over and letting M$ make sweet butt love to you.

Sorry, I forgot you are all kids, your mommy and daddy’s bending over and taking it up the butt for you. That’s why you don’t care, it’s not your money you are pissing down the drain.

  PC – 360 supposed exclusives & FPS better than ANY console (well except PS Move enabled FPS) & of course emulaters for games all the way back to early 80′s.
  
  Wii – Retro gaming, NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, Game Cube & Family gaming.
  
  PS3 – The best and true exclusives, blu ray, blue tooth, wifi, browser, free online play, free streaming service, no hidden fee’s, hardware reliance, best controller (my opinion), best motion control (not an opinion)
  
  360 – Overpriced, hardware does not support $299 price tag, risk of overheating and scratching disks, ugly power brick, old cd tray, pay to play, will force you to upgrade, expensive and limited upgrades. Games are on PC, better on PC and free online play the PC way.
  
  There are only a handful of 360 games not on PC. It is not necessary to support Xbox crappy hardware and certainly not necessary to pay to play. EVERYWHERE ELSE IT IS FREE.
  
  Xbox sucks because of the scams. Any TRUE GAMER wouldn’t be stupid enough to support the only platform that is pay to play. ANY other platform is fine to support.

Guys, Xbox used to be free to, but they got into the same stupid situation as PS3 are in.. Now in the Xbox terms and conditions it says that the reason you’re paying to go online is so that they can spend more money on having better security! Haven’t you noticed they that haven’t been hacked? And yet pretty much every other console has?

Also as for them being the same online.. The PS3′s community is awful due the parents getting they 7 year only squeaky childen PS3′s for Christmas or their birthday so they don’t have to pay.. therefore makes a very annoying commmunity.

Xbox live is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo overrated. Get what you pay for my ass. You have to pay for xbox live just to have a netflix account. That’s just one example of why it’s so stupid. All you xbox fanboys keep bringing up that psn got hacked but it’s happened to xbox too and it will happen again. Stop acting so cocky like Live is unhackable cuz it’s not. It’s nothing special so stop overrating it.

Well Treyarch have actually fixed the Game time in Hardcore CTF in this update/ its now back to 9 mins!
