The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Awakening DLC will finally be released for the Xbox 360 platform. This is several months after it came out on all of the other platforms.
Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb tweeted: “FYI Awakening DLC coming to @CallofDuty Black Ops III for Xbox 360 on May 5th. I’ll share a link when its available”
This is the first DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and not the Eclipse DLC that just came out on the PS4. Both Activision and Treyarch have stated that the Eclipse DLC will not be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms.
Not to mention all other future content of the game is not expected to be on PS3 and Xbox 360. This will be the last time that Activision and Treyarch will support the last-gen consoles.
With so many players migrating to the PS4 and Xbox One consoles, it will be interesting to see if this year’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be available on last-gen platforms. Black Ops 3 was not a full game on PS3 and Xbox 360 as it was missing the epic single player campaign.
