Day one patches in gaming these days are known for being pretty substantial, but when it comes to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on PS4 that is an understatement. The game is already a beast in its own right, but the day one patch that it will be receiving is nearly 4GB.
It was revealed by PlayStation Lifestyle that the game’s day one patch is precisely 3.821GB in size, with the patch notes also being released to show what the patch will actually be fixing. Despite the large patch size, the patch notes that are listed don’t seem to be anything major. They are the following:
- General bug fixing
- Functionality and localization improvements
- General stability tweaks
- Breach latest implementations
Day one patches are nothing new these days, and despite this being a big one it definitely doesn’t mean that the game is a bug-riddled mess without it. The devs have been doing everything they can to make sure that the game runs as smoothly as possible, which largely accounts for the most recent delay that the game received.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox one and PC on August 23rd, though you can look forward to our review for the game tomorrow.
