Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition Releasing In June; Adds More Playable Characters

The Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition now has a release date set in June.

A NeoGAF user found out that Japanese media has received some new information about Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition. The game has a Japanese release date of June 18th for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. The PC version will come out a week later on June 24th.

The Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition will allow you to play as more characters other than Dante. The new playable characters in the game are Vergil, Trish and Lady. You are able to play as these characters in any level you wish.

The Legendary Knight mode will be available for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition. In terms of pre-order bonuses, there might be special costumes for both Trish and Lady.

Capcom already re-released DmC: Devil May Cry earlier this year. That game is critically acclaimed, but still divides fans to this day. Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition is sure to be the version long-time fans have been waiting for.

Capcom is sure to make more announcements about Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition very soon. We’re pretty sure the Western release date will be similar.
