The Dragon Ball Super Blu-ray/DVD release of box 3 has been slightly delayed as the date has been pushed back by one month.

Originally scheduled to be released on June 2nd, 2016, the third box of Dragon Ball Super’s Blu-ray/DVD will now be coming out on July 2nd, 2016.

The new release date was revealed via Amazon Japan. The Blu-ray/DVD includes episodes 25 until 36 so it covers the end of the Resurrection F saga as well as the ongoing Champa saga. The set also has a special booklet with on-disc extras that aren’t seen in the TV series.

It’s unknown how long the current Champa saga will be going on for as the manga is still being printed. It’s possible it could go longer than episode number 36, but we’ll just have to wait and see for now.

It’s worth mentioning the Blu-ray/DVD sets being released are aimed for the Japanese market. We still don’t have any proper news if Funimation will be working on an English dub. According to Funimation, Toei Animation has yet to contact them about it.

However, you can stay tuned here to AttackoftheFanboy as we review every episode of the Japanese version of the TV series each week.
