Some big news for fans of video game movies. Ubisoft announced that it is in the middle of making a movie based on Watch Dogs. It was also announced that the PS4 will get Watch Dogs 2 DLC first.

Ubisoft is confident that the Assassin’s Creed movie will do well that it feels Watch Dogs will make a good fit in the film industry. Little is known about the movie yet, but presenter Aisha Tyler wanted Michael B. Jordan to be the lead actor.

As for Watch Dogs 2, it was revealed that the PS4 version of the game will get DLC 30 months before Xbox One and PC owners. Ubisoft did a deal with Sony in order to make this happen. If you love Watch Dogs, you might want to buy it on PS4.

Hopefully the movie can do well. Video game movies have been a mixed bag in 2016. Warcraft is doing well in China, but nowhere else. Not to mention critics hated it, but the fans have been a little more kinder to it. Watch Dogs 2 is out in November while no release window has been revealed for the movie.
