The Final Fantasy 15 art director has announced that he is leaving Square Enix today. The man was in the company for a very long 24 years.
Final Fantasy 15’s art director, Yusuke Naora, tweeted out this message of his resignation: As of 30th September, I resigned Square Enix, the company I worked for 24 years.Yesterday, Taba-chan kindly showed me FFXV’s ending. It was my last work, and it became the greatest ending. Everybody did fantastic! It was the finest work.
I’ve a little regret about the release date’s postpone, although, I was happy cause felt like they tried to let me have honor. Even after my resignation, I will continue illustration and design works with Square Enix, and I also want to try out much new opportunity, so I wish you can still support me. Even Thank you for letting me have all kind of wonderful experience with a lot of people! Thanks again for everything.
It’s interesting to note he has seen the ending of the game already. Not to mention he left the company during the original release date for Final Fantasy 15. He won’t be there to see the final stages of development. The new release date for the game is now November 29th, 2016.
