Final Fantasy XV Demo Map Size Is 8 Percent Of Skyrim’s Land

The map size in the upcoming Final Fantasy XV demo is quite large. It covers eight percent of the land in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

DualShockers studied the map that Square Enix shared during the recent stream of Final Fantasy XV. According to their calculations, they estimate the map size from the demo is around 1.16 square miles.

They said the map size for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is 37 square kilometers. The Final Fantasy XV demo covers around eight percent of that according to DualShockers. Some people suggest the map that was shown isn’t even the full thing from the demo. It’s possible the map size in the demo could even be larger.

Regardless of whether the calculations are right or not, I think we can all agree that Final Fantasy XV will be a very huge game. If the demo covers a large area, the full game is likely to be even bigger. There will be more towns and lots of expansive lands for you to explore in the full game.

Square Enix still hasn’t confirmed if airships will be in included in Final Fantasy XV yet. Hopefully they are included as it looks like we might need them.
