The Forza series has been an annual mainstay for the Xbox One since it launched, with Forza Motorsport 6 and the upcoming Forza Horizon 3 also coming to Windows 10 PC. The official page listing on Microsoft’s website originally had a demo scheduled for release last night, but while the wait ended up being a little longer than that, the demo is now available for Xbox One.
Forza Horizon 3 launches in two weeks for both Xbox One and PC, which has fans of the series clamouring to get their hands on it. Recently, a page went up on the Microsoft website that claimed the demo would be launching at 8:00 pm ET on September 11.
That time came and went, but the game’s official Twitter posted that information about the game’s demo would be coming soon. They did not wait long either, as the game’s official website revealed that the demo is now available as of earlier today.
The demo can be found right on the Xbox Games Store on Xbox One and is 18.34 GB, so you will need to make sure to clear enough room for it on your console.
Windows 10 PC owners will be disappointed to learn that the demo will not be coming to PC until after the release of the game on September 27. They did not specify how long after release, but they did recommend checking out the free Forza Motorsport 6: Apex on the Windows 10 store, as it “has been built in lockstep with our learnings from Forza Motorsport 6: Apex.
